Knotwork.
My own style of interlace with zoomorphs.

The wide green band is one continuous strand. The integrity of the over, under, over, under weaving has been maintained, sometimes in strange ways, but go ahead, trace some of it out. Let me know if you find errors. Anywhere.

An actual full original, no computer manipulation. Strathmore Bristol, color pencil (all kinds) and even a little crayon.

It took a very long time. Probably around 200 hours. I do not work fast. Thank you for the fav!

that is sooo cool! you do random knotwork like I do but it is such an original style too! WOW I feel like I havnlt done knotwork in froever! the first thing I thought when I saw this was fairytales.. I reckon innocence fits right in there! Awesome job and I have a lot of respect for the time you put in!

It is mostly images from the unconscious (telling a story that only I can understand) and one of my favorite authors as a child was Dr.Suess so I feel that plays in, as well of course as thing like Grims fairy tales. I really am still learning knotwork so a piece like this five years from now likely wouldn't take nearly as long. I sure hope so anyway!
